GCSE Autumn Revision Course, 28 – 30 October 2019
It is vital that the students make good use of the time they have to prepare thoroughly for their GCSE exams. Even if they have worked steadily, some could benefit enormmously from a boost to help them get the grade they need.
The revision course we offer is designed to help students by increasing their confidence and improving their chance of success. It could make the difference of an entire grade or more in the final exam result.
How the course can help:
Our course is 18 hours long, spread over three days. It is hard work but most students will accomplish much more than they will by working on their own.
Our groups are small (6 to 8 students depending on the course), so the tutors will be more able to address student needs than in a typical classroom. There will be an opportunity for students to receive individual help with areas they find particularly difficult.
During the course, students will be taught revision and examination techniques, which will be useful not only for the Maths exam, but for other subjects too. Students often underperform in examinations not because they don’t know the material but because of how they answer the questions.
On the final day of the course, students will sit a mock examination based on the material covered. This will be marked and sent on to the student with comments by the tutor.
Course Cost and Structure
The course costs £90 per day for six hours of tuition per day, which is a total of £270 for 18 hours of tuition. Although students may book individual days, priority will be given to students who wish to attend all three days.
The timetable for each day is as follows (subject to change).
